Dudes With Stix - Men's Beginning Knitting

Engineering. Mathematics. Construction. All of these are, traditionally, considered "manly" pursuits. These are also the skills one uses (or develops) when they knit! Come on in, have a beer with Ben, and try it for yourself!
2 sessions will allow you to "try it and see if you like it". You will learn to cast on, knit, purl and bind off while you create a simple scarf using whatever yarn you choose. The Chix will be happy to help you make your selection.
You will receive 10% off of materials for this class. A beer or 2 is included.
Ben Walker is a knitter and designer (soon to be published in a SoHo Knitting publication!) who is currently working on TKGA's Master Knitter program. He speaks fluent Japanese.
To reserve a space in a class, you may register online. However, to secure your spot, we ask that you call us at 708-366-6300 to pre-pay for the class with a credit card, or stop in to the store to pre-pay for the class and choose your materials.

You can sign up either on-line or stop by our store at 7316 W. Madison in Forest Park, IL. Pre-payment is required to secure your place. If you choose to register on-line, we will call you and arrange payment over the phone, or you can stop by the store and we can process your registration and pre-payment in person. We offer a 10% discount on materials purchased for your class, unless otherwise noted in class description.
